Quick Start
Get Noteable running in under 5 minutes. This guide walks you through installation, your first note, and activating the AI.
Step 1 — Download
Download the latest version for your platform from the downloads page. Noteable supports macOS (Apple Silicon & Intel) and Windows 10/11.
Step 2 — Create your first note
Open Noteable and press ⌘N (macOS) or Ctrl+N (Windows) to create a new note. Start typing — no formatting required.
Step 3 — Activate Note Buddy AI
Click the sparkle icon in the top-right of any note to open Note Buddy. Ask it anything about your notes.

Note
The AI model downloads on first launch (~2GB). Make sure you have a stable connection for the initial setup.
Keyboard shortcuts
- ⌘N / Ctrl+N — New note
- ⌘K / Ctrl+K — Command palette
- ⌘F / Ctrl+F — Semantic search
- ⌘⇧V / Ctrl+Shift+V — Voice capture
- ⌘⇧B / Ctrl+Shift+B — Open Note Buddy
